Car Driving Tuition - Class B
Automatic or Manual Transmission

We have new cars for 2005/6 and all our cars are fitted with dual controls for safety. We also have cars with automatic gearboxes. You cannot sit a test in a automatic car and achieve a manual licence.

We do not have in-car mobile phones, except our in automatic vehicle, because we train disabled persons and Carers with disabled family members and need communications in the event of either party requiring assistance.
We prefer a young pupil’s first lesson to be from home with a parent or guardian at home. Our staff can then introduce themselves to parents and youngster. After the first lesson we will pick up from schools, workplaces or colleges.
Pass Plus

This is government sponsored scheme for newly qualified drivers and comprises a six-module course (not an exam) to teach good driving skills.

Supervision is given on motorways, fast urban roads and in bad weather driving.

Upon completion you receive a diploma from the government. In many cases this can reduces your motor insurance by three or four fold the cost of the course.

Currently Pass Plus is optional but the indications are it will be made compulsory in the future.
